Iron Man armor a bit odd.
I don't use armor because Dodge is alot better. But my friend has Iron Man and in Armoror Skill Deck. And he still goes down in about 5 seconds of Full armor. Shouldn't they Balance it a bit?

Fix: Fixed Title I could see how Saying its worthless bad :/

Thats because he's not taking cover. Playing with armour means watching your armour % and making sure it doesn't drop to 0.

If he has the armorer perk and the ictv and still goes down then its most likely his fault for trying to go rambo with it.

Armour is meant for bunkuring down, not going rambo.
Your friend is probably using Iron Man wrong if he thinks he no longer needs cover.

Dodge is built for mobility. It's not going to help much when you have to defend an objective in a bottleneck.

I am not trying to hate on anything. Just a bit odd for Dodge to be more useful in more situations. I can just help someone help while dodging everyone.

Both are equal.
On Day 2 of Breakout, armor seems to be better, because you have a control point to defend.
Day 1, Dodge is better.

I'll say it again.

Toyfan explained it quite nicely. I prefer tanking myself.

Well Breakout, Dodge on Day 2 is so awesome. I will go around dodging bullets and be helping friends. I am usally the last one down in a situation. Kinda Dodge is Sit Down and shoot.
But Player PReference you are right

Both have their merits. Armor builds are much better, I think, for holding certain areas (defending the server area in Breakout, or meth room in Rats come to mind) while dodge builds allow for lower detection (meaning you can stealth effectively as well as hold your own if/when it goes loud) and higher mobility. I like dodge builds for missions like Watchdogs, Transports, and Day 1 Firestarter.

Actually... day 2 is very good for having dodge... you go around dodging every bullet while dealing damage, thanks to the map layout you can easily retreat and do it all again.

Had 180 kills on the end of it using dodge.

Kills aren't effected by the armor you're wearing, thats just YOUR skill.

Dodge is better on day 1 because you're doing a escort.
Again, You may be better with Dodge.

Player Preference.

Played both builds. Finished Hoxton breakout on dw with it. Both builds are equally strong but dodge requires more effort to be played right. Dodge biggest advantage is speed. you can tank a bunch of enemies while sprinting somewhere.

But in general the ictv build is easier to play and have a higher margin of error. In most situations where you stay on 1 spot ICTV is still the better option.

I can see Player Preference has alot to do with everything and skill in each kinda playstyles. I guess everyone must find there equal balance to everything in the tree and try to work it in game.

Except Transporter.
No reason not to have that God of a skill.

This is Bag Throwing Simulator 2K14, don't you know!

I think that instead of focusing in which maps dodge is better against armour, we should leave very clear that both of them require different playstyles to be used effectively.

An armor player that previusly learned how to play with dodge will most likely not help his team very much because he doesnt have mobility anymore and cant run in open areas without taking many damage.
Meanwhile a dodge player that previusly learned how to play with armor will just get REKT because he will most likely make excessive use of cover and not use the benefits of dodge.

In my opinion both of them have the same potential, just that they do it differently.
