How can I easily unlock everything?

I just bought Payday 2, and as such have practically no good guns or equipment. I just want to play the game with friends, and figure it would be funner if I had access to all the non-dlc guns and equipment. Is there a way to quickly unlock everything, without sinking hours into the game?

For EXP, 2 or 3 Overkill heists that lasts 3 days should unlock most of the good stuff at that point.

For weapon mods and mask components, grab yourself and 2 friends and speedrun Jewelry Store over and over with a certain Daft Punk song in the background for the duration of the session.

There's no "unlock" pack for this game and I'd advise you to not ask such things as stated in your last sentence that I've ommitted from your paragraph, thanks.

I'd advise against it, personally. For one, you're skipping a great chunk of what's good about Payday 2. For another, that's considered cheating and is against the rules of conduct.

Play the game normally. After the XP adjustment, it won't take you very long to unlock most of the stuff.

Overkill has promised recently to take steps against hackers. You might get a ban in "some weeks" if you start cheating now...

I wouldn't advocate cheating simply because there is no way to distinguish yourself from people who use game breaking cheats in heists but I wouldn't call running jewlery store over and over the good part of the game. Far from it, the exp and rng grind is the worst part of the game.

Wait, Jewellery store over and over again? Where did that come from? I levelled up on Rats, Firestarter and - most recently - Hotline Miami. Playing the game normally - by which I mean playing everything that shows up Crome.net - will get you where you need to go pretty quickly. You may not get all the mods you want (I'm still missing stuff for the Brenner) but in terms of money and experience you're pretty much set playing practically anything.

why buy the game if you dont want to play it. there is plenty of games setup as pay to win on here. go download those.

From the second post in this topic and my experience waiting for mods and masks after several hundred hours. Plus the OP said they just wanted to play the game with friends with the weapons they want, not like they want to unlock everything for the sake of completion. That's hardly skipping anything.

For gettin exp, do watchdogs. Work yourself up the difficulty over time til you hit overkill.
You can also join rats on overkill and the chances are good some guys still rush it.

Use the JP36 at the start and slap the first available sight on it(maybe not the acough scope). It's a good gun out of the box.
For secondary, take the locomotive when you have the basic shotgun skill, or otherwise probably take the bernetti. Good out of the box too.

For getting weapon mods, there is not really an easy solution, except doing lots of short heists like jewelry store, mallcrasher and diamond store.
