PAYDAY 2
Did Overkill sell us out of our passive perk sets for John Wick?
You realize Lionsgate paid Overkill to advertise this movie, right? It's a bucking sell out move and just so they could streamline the addition of his perks without its' own skill tree they destroyed our old passive perk system which allowed us to hybridize and customize our perk sets by allocating skill points accordingly.

I think it's time for you to move on and get better at the current perk system because it's going nowhere anytime soon.

Meanwhile, I can finally be a mastermind enforcer with a +80% weapon swap speed, all of that without having to reach the higher ghost skill tiers.

They were already planning to modify the perk system due to it's rather..... off state so they used this as a way to place more idaes in.
You just aren't used to the change and ♥♥♥♥ up (JUST LIKE ME) during a rats rush for xp.

I don't think you understand what they took away from us. We no longer have the ability in any way what so ever to pick and choose our perks aside from choosing their presets. They put us into neat little boxes and labeled them for us. Now you can only be half as specialised as before. I expected the changes to come to allow us greater customisation, not to take it away and limit it.

Sure it's easier and doesn't cost money, but for those of us that hadn't needed to change their skills in hundreds of hours and who had all the money in the world, is this helping or hindering?

It really depends on your previous build. You got a skill or two taken away while many of us now have access to otherwise impossible combinations. You'll have to deal with that and move on really. Besides who knows? Maybe one of the future decks will have your previous tier bonus combination.

Thank you for the great comment, Red. Love you guys over @ T$C. The game still kicks some butt and I'll just have to tweak my stuff or figure a perk deck out that gives the same kind of edge I had before.
Thank you to everybody for their comments in this thread. You have all been a blast and I feel better thanks to you guys. Sorry for being a rabble-rouser and trying to get your goats. I look forward to playing with each and every one of you.
