buyable real life masks?
My friend was telling me that it is possible to buy actual payday masks from the website?

Is this true? I can't find anything on google about it (well, not from the developers website).

$41 euros for shipping to Canada? Oh wow. Any one have any idea of the quality of these masks?
SLO7H Oct 24, 2014 @ 8:33am
They seem to be made of vinyl and maybe some plastic. They are not sloppy like rubber, the mask shape seem to remain "solid" when you pick them up. Look up The Creatures PD2 crimefest stream on youtube. They show the masks there.

I agree with you when it comes to the shipping cost. 41 euros for shipping to Canada is extremely expensive, I think they are shipped from Germany.

I saw somewhere on the forums that they would do something about the shipping cost after Crimefest. But I am not sure if that is true. I'm going to wait and see, before I buy one.

I find it unfair that Sweden shipping cost is 8.99 but in Norway it is 17.99, that is 2 times as much as Sweden, and we are right next to them. Hell I even live 30 minutes from Sweden by car.

Probably postal service prices, I think some of the cost is based on the cost in the country it ships to? (Antar posten i Norge får sin cut? - Friend invite sent forresten :-)

That is what I am afraid of, that our postal service is too expensive. But I sent the store an email to get more info on this. I would like a mask, I just need to know if I should wait or not before purchasing one :)

Its about $50 USD with another $50ish for shipping. They've said that they're going to look into the shipping costs though.

Thanks for the late replies. I do really want to get one and wanted to make sure the quality isn't crappy.

I was under the impression that they would have been like those V for Vendetta masks that came with the comic. For those who haven't seen them, they are very very thin flimsy plasic.

Google how sturdy/flimsy vinyl is (I have no idea personally), then judge whether it's a good buy based on that.

There IS a return option, although probably a hassle to process. Still, it's there (not sure if shipping is refunded).

And I think they said somewhere their merchandise will soon hit stores worldwide (maybe in the announcement page? don't remember), so unless if you're extremely impatient, you can consider that option.

I guess we will see. I am obviously going to wait because 40 euros for the mask and 50 euros for shipping is a lot. Given that I am Canadian, that is almost $200 (if not more.. i forget the conversion).

In all honesty though, I am VERY glad overkill did come out with a buyable mask because I do have a thing for collecting game-related memorabilia. I just hope I can get them soon! :)

Ekonomin är ej densamma,- tullkostnader är ej detsamma, lagar&regler är ej densamma.

Högre pris troligen för att det blir samma % kostnad i slutenden (i syn på medelklassens löner kanske?)

I'm curious though, are these QUALITY masks?

Links for any showcase?
