Had to uninstall game due to regular stream of slow to install updates.

This latest update was the last straw for me. I'd have like to have played more of this game but I'm sick and tired of the constant stream of updates that thrash the hard drive as they unpack and so I've deleted it. What did they all do anyway? The last one I checked on took about 10 minutes to unpack and apparently it was just a baseball bat.

I do agree with having some annoyances about the regular updates. I like how they're very active and you can feel they really care about their product. I just feel as if the manner of deployment could be done a little bit different, because 1. it doesn't help doing a big heist and having a friend crash and afterwards not be able to join 2. updates is not always as easy to download for everyone

If I was a huge fan of the game I'm sure I'd have a more positive outlook, but as a casual player who only plays every now and then when I can get my friends to join it's too much.

really? this is why you leave? just set payday 2 to auto update,also why would you want your game to stay the same with no updates? if you don't like them then just play old games/singleplayer ones that are offline only and poof dream come true, we will be glad that there is one less bad teamate gone.

I can undertsand your point so wont dwell on that. However you can turn off automatic updates, this gives you full control on when you download a patch... for any game on steam.

But seriously comming onto the forum to complain that the game is getting updated is just bad form.

Step 2: Go to bathroom
Step 3: Come back and play the game (You washed your hands, right?)

On a serious note, if you're going to stop playing then it's your call. However, a -4- minute update isn't really an 'excuse.' Or... are gamers getting so impatient now that 4 minutes is truly unacceptable? I remember spending 3 hours downloading the 1.3 patch for counterstrike way back when, just to have someone call and interupt the download so i'd have to start from scratch. Literally had to buy an "update disk," because I couldn't download 300 mbs.

I just can't believe someone is complaining about free content. Insane.

Yeah ok fair comments from everyone, it just got on my nerves when all I want to do is play something else and once again this was updating. I'll no doubt come back to it when I'm ready to get back into it.
