"Hammertime" achievement not working?

I killed several enemies with the Ding Dong breaching tool but in the achievement progress says 0/25

Do I have to kill a specific enemy type or it's the achievement bugged?

you have to kill thugs, Try Rats Day 1 and 2.

You need to kills "thugs" gangsters in rats day 1, 2 & 3 or Big Oil day 1 ......

It can work for example on the Hotline Miami mission? Killing those russian mobsters. Thanks for your help guys :)

It works on the gangsters on firestarter day 1 as well

Also, steam tends not to show your progress. Once you have killed 25, it'll give you the achieve, but it might not show 24 before your final care and stuff.

Nightclub is a good one. Go in offline mode (or use Hoxhud) and whack the 6 or so Russian thugs on the level and restart.

Other jobs include Hotline Miami (both days), Rats (all days), Firestarter day 1, and Big Oil day 1. Just be sure you're bashing thugs/gangers/mobsters and not cops.

Weird though, in this other Achievement, they call them "thugs" too, look: Do You Like Hurting Other People?
In the Hotline Miami job, kill 30 thugs with the Baseball Bat. Unlocks the Dennis mask, Solid Stock for the Uzi submachine gun, Wooden Grip for the Cobra submachine gun, "Rubber" material and "Hip to Be Polygon" pattern.

But still, by killing the russian mobsters in Hotline Miami mission, I am not getting any progress for the Hammertime Achievement...
