Welp,other battle rifles,like the AMR 16 and the Falcon,are IMHO really good when knitted out for CqB...But the eagle heavy really sucks in that...And using it as a normal assault rifle,highlights how awful it is

They seem to work well for me?

The Gewehr 3 with DMR is pretty awful, the M308 has too little ammo, the Falcon and Eagle Heavy are just awful in every way, and the AK.762 with DMR is outclassed by the regular AK with DMR.

I really like the AMR with DMR though.

Falcon can do a good job when you ♥♥♥♥ up its accuracy and maximize its stability and damage.Treat it like a shotgun (close quarters and mostly hipfiring),and it won't suck

AK762 without DMR together with berserker is pretty effective, AK762 is pretty alright on DW without berserker if you want a bit extra damage versus annoying tasers.

But you will have to be careful with your ammunition.

Eagle and Falcon are good, with..... a mod that modifies weapon stats ;p I used to carry the Eagle a lot when it just went out, got outclassed by snipers and is now even outclassed by meta-4. Sad.
Now on topic, 48 damage is a bit low, you can raise it in my opinion.

You can probably reach more than 48 damage, though.
You will need recent DLCs, but it gets over 60 damage and same accuracy.
DMR version is 110.

also: the heavy rifles have way enough ammo and a very good pickup rate, if u a guy like me with a 90% headshot rate with a CAR-4 for example.

no need for a ammo buff, no need for a damage buff, no need to cut of magazines.

u can complete nearly every DW heist without even need an ammobag o.O
i really cant understand what u guys do with ur ammo.

ur just using wrong guns, doing needless overdamage at the cost of bullet capacity.

People do AMCAR/Chimano DW runs all the time. If those guns are viable (which they are), then any gun is.

I would like to see how much experience you really have with the game, especially DW, but your profile is private. I am always fond for feedback about things I am doing wrong or not good enough, but I demand a certain competence from that criticizing person in order to take the feedback seriously and consider it. But since I don't know what you really know about the game (or, in this case, game balance), and I spent a lot of time in the game beating all DW missions several times, including loud, I will simply assume that you are wrong and I am right, when I am saying that it's already hard to self sustain a combat rifle on OK, let alone on DW where the numbers of shots to kill and ammo return will probably confirm me. Even Fully Loaded aced won't prevent you of needing to deal with that huge amount of ammo eating specials on DW.

When a Car-4 can hit 60 with almost twice the ammo and better pickup, that doesn't mean much.
