So how do I get more SAW mods?
Fairly simple question. The OVE9000 SAW gained four new mods with the Butcher Mod Pack - two discs and two motors. Thing is, I have two SAWs I'd like to outfit - one primary and one secondary. I've never been able to figure out how to get pieces for them. At first I thought I'd use Side Jobs since that's the only way to get Butcher Mod Pack items, but the SAW doesn't show up under the Special category. Or anywhere else for that matter.

So how do I get more mods for it?

Are you specced for the saw when you claimed your reward?

The side job rewards get locked out if you have restrictions of any kind, be it level or skill related.

It's only obtainable through the sidejobs, HOWEVER:

You must have the OVE9000 SKILL active. Otherwise it won't show up in the "specials" when you collect your reward.

It's wonky, but that's unfortunatly how it works.

You have to currently be on a build that has the saw skill for it to show up in the daily reward. ♥♥♥♥ move by the devs since you can't back out once you click to go to that menu.

That's a nice temp fix for the problem... a better one would be a back button.

Really? Son of a... No, I wasn't specced for the SAW when I tried to claim the reward. Today's mission was Hot Lava, for which I used my "subtle" build that's Fugitive and Ghost. No SAW. OK, so I need to have a gun unlocked and available for use before I try to earn mods for it out of Side Jobs? That's... Very unintuitive, but at least now I know. Thank you.

That actually works? Huh, cool. Thanks, I'll remember that. Still a ♥♥♥♥ move, though. Why even put that requirement in there?
