Unlocking harder difficulties?

How do you unlock harder difficulties. I originally thought it was just level related, but I'm confused now. as I am II-17 trying to do the weekly challenege. I can do all the old missions on death wish when I buy it, but not Hoxton Breakout/a couple others, as they only go to hard. Is it just level related or what?

Level related, I was 7-20 a day ago and I couldn't see how much XP I could get from Proverkill Hoxton Breakout.

Maybe because you shouldn't run a Hoxton DW at lvl 17?
Don't know exactly when it unlocks to buy, but 17 is way to low.
It's very impolite to join such a lobby at this lvl as you expect others to carry you.

Please think before you write a comment and acting that way. Firstly, I was making my own game singleplayer, secondly, I solo'd rats just fine on OK, with a suit, no skills, at this level, and lastly, theres not much difference I'm aware of when you go for the weekly challenge, since you cant use skills or armor.

Well trying to run a DW lobby under 75 is kind of a bad idea in the first place, it's a good thing they locked the harder difficulties even after going infamous.

You probably don't have enough money in your offshore account to buy the contract, especially since you've just become infamous for the second time.

It is level related. You can't even buy Butcher Contracts when lvl 0 (because of going infamous etc.) and harder difficulties are locked in the contract broker until you increase your reputation/lvl. I think one can join a lobby with DW jobs though. When advancing you'll notice that new difficulties become available. (quite fast, with the current XP bonuses). I think at lvl 40 you're able to buy any non dw-jobs.

I bought FF DW when I was 2-21.
By trying to beat big heists on low levels you just waste your time because you'll have huge exp penalty.

Farm 4stores ovk until 25-30 using jammers. Easiest way imo. Then do ecm rush on shadow raid or election day (depends on amount of crew members and your game skill).

Mallcrasher ovk is better imho if you can't afford what so ever to get inside man.
Don't know about the escape chance on four stores, but it has to be like 95% if the heist turns loud ( which is very likely when atms spawn bad or you have to picklock the door towards the van with no ecm left).

That doesn't contradict my observeration. I dislike farming anyway, to me it is more interesting to see the highest difficulty you can manage with the smallest amount of gear/level
