Like whenever you start a mission you always start on Day1. I dunno, I saw it of course firt time when I went to the safehouse for tutorial and I guess i always thought there would be more of a narative story where you progress further in say...a storyline. However You're always on Day1 i guess.
I'll do a search oin forums for the safehouse. Seems there is more to that place to me. Or if anyone wants to give me a hint on what the safehouse is besides admiring your guns and looking at your money (any easter eggs.) I know I found some money in one of the safes that I was practicing on drilling. Think I got a steam achievement or two from playing around in the safehouse but otherwise it doen't have much use does it?
Yeah It helps
I figure now it is just ART.
I had it stuck in my head earlier when I first started that there might be more to it though.
Loving the game, really loving it, great game.
As it currently stands, the safehouse isn't terribly useful, that's true. Back when the game released, there was talk of Safehouse Customization/Upgrades, but that has yet to come to fruition. You always start one day one, this is true, but there are longer missions that move you to Day 2 or Day 3. The safehouse is technically unwinnable once you finish the tutorial. Watchdogs is an example of a 2 day heist. On day 1, you must secure your cocaine stash and escape during an FBI Raid on the vehicle you're transporting it in. Once you escape, you continue on with the heist. On day 2, you rejoin your stash at the docks and give it to a cartel speedboat in loads of 4. Escape then, Heist complete. At the end of a final day is when you get XP, money, and Card Drops. Hope this helps out a bit.
we got the normal and the bad, but where´s the good? no friggin equality n sh!t!
gotta love them typos ;-)
Still would be nice to upgrade my pad to do hookers and Blow. (this was quoted from nother thread.) lol
Yeah Thanks for that Tuffcooke, like i said I'm already Level 55 or 57 somehing like that so I understand some missions like Watchdogs have a day 1 and day2.
I dunno, I just kind of fixated on the idea that there might be some story-line that would eventually progressive and would reflect in your safehouse. So ssooner or later as you progressed not only would thier be your guns on the gun rack and your money in the vault, you'd have options to upgrade your living room or different dumb-crap.LOL
It does makes sense although it's probably pointless. Unless you get additional content unlocked by upgrading certain things. I dunno, people like that, I like that, adds more roleplay to the game.
That's essentially why people want it, and why it's kind of touchy. But there are some story elements to the game. The contractor Hector's Heists follow a linear story. Watchdogs has his cartel gain a foothold in D.C. while Firestarter is to cripple the opposing Mendoza cartel. In their weakened state, we assassinate them and end Hector's arc with Rats. The character of Hoxton actually has a MASSIVE story arc that spawns across multiple contractors.
In a perfect world, yes. In our world.........that's a neat idea you've got there.
You start off the game as normal just like any 1-day heists and if you completed all the objectives then you're finished day 1, since you're doing a multi-day heist, you won't get your money yet as it isn't PAYDAY so you have to continue the heist until it reaches Day 3 (or later if Overkill wants to be even more awesome)
Each Day usually take place in a different scnario for example like: In Hotline Miami Heist, in Day 1, you have to kill all the Russian mobster in a motel and find the right barcode and in Day 2 which is the final day of this heist, You have to race upstairs to kill someone that is somehow as tough as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bulldozer (that's how I describe it folks, don't hate me ;c) and grab da coke........-a-cola and then you finished the Heist!
TL:DR: Example: in Hoxton Breakout Day 1, you must get the old Hoxton to somewhere I don't know & I after that you continue playing so it's off to Day 2 which Hoxton must use computers in a Police Station for some reason and after that, IT'S PAYDAY FELLAS!
Basically playing a Multi-Day Heist will give you lots of money in your offshore account than a 1-Day Heist, once you finished Day 1, you have to continue to Day 2 and so on.
Hope this helps. I somehow learn everything in PD2 in just 2 days.......
Judging by the fairly emotional and even rage drive discussion on this (in other past threads) I looked at I'm guessing I'm not the only guy to think it might happen or wish it to happen. Some people have suggested and I'm not sure they were wrong that there probablyy was a plan but it just got dropped. It's only guesswork though but I'd take that school of thought as mine as well.
