at first i thought it might have been because you're on wifi and your connection to the modem is spotty but that would cause drop outs in game more than connecting to a lobby.
but like i said previously, it's most likely incompatible versions of payday (especially if you're being invited to a game through steam etc and not using the lobby, aka crime net)
Well, that's pretty common either way, probably created by ghost lobbies.
Thing is, today I get disconnected from host constantly and I see people disconnecting constantly too, whether I host or not.
Which is why this

wise words, i have the same issue but run a 60k internet. i guess there are a lot of bad hosts out there too but that many?
