LOSING CONNECTION TO HOST ALWAYS!!!

im always losing connection to host ever since this update! its so annoying i cant ever finish a match, and i can barely join matches

if it's failed to join it may be because there was a patch release you weren't aware of, or the lobby hosting was not aware of. I've had this problem if i was playing for a few hours and a patch came out that my friends steam auto applied and I invited them. incompatible versions. But it wont tell you that they are incompatible versions. so if everybody is up to date, re verify your file cache / integrity etc.

at first i thought it might have been because you're on wifi and your connection to the modem is spotty but that would cause drop outs in game more than connecting to a lobby.

the connection in the game is not the best to say the least. i have these problems too and my internet is completely fine on all other games

I know it's a crazy idea, but you could.... host your own game

if you're having no problems with CS or something which is extremely sensetive to internet disruption then i'd say you're internet is fine. If you're not having a problem with an RTS or a genre other than FPS then i'd say those games are just a lot more forgiving of flakey internet connections and you probably do have an internet problem.

but like i said previously, it's most likely incompatible versions of payday (especially if you're being invited to a game through steam etc and not using the lobby, aka crime net)

What comes to my case: Connection in other games is fine, skype runs fine, down-/upload speeds are very good, ping very reasonable, no packet loss, internet connection stability is good. Game integrity checked and fine. Steam cache cleaned. Versions checked before every game and fine. Steam&payday2 allowed in firewall and router ports. Still i'm disconnecting in lobby and in-game continously... I have to call my ISP if they have made any changes into the network... cannot think of any other reason for this anymore, besides that it's all caused by bad payday 2 updates... I am very frustrated because this whole thing started in the beginning of march. Before that, no problems whatsoever and the game ran almost perfectly. Haven't changed anything. Still, now it's unplayable.

Well, that's pretty common either way, probably created by ghost lobbies.
Thing is, today I get disconnected from host constantly and I see people disconnecting constantly too, whether I host or not.

wise words, i have the same issue but run a 60k internet. i guess there are a lot of bad hosts out there too but that many?
