I don't believe level has anything to do with it? I was Infamy III or IV when it started, and it's been going since the end half of Infamy IV and now I'm Infamy V, so I don't believe it's at all related to level...
Why would your level be relevant?
Well that would be displayed in THEIR load times connecting to ME, right?
This is the raw level load time for ME. Even if I am the host, alone, with the lobby closed (even in offline mode), it's the level load time that has for whatever reason started to take longer than it used to.
I'm used to seeing it go from Loading 0% to Loading 100% in maybe 10 seconds at most. Now it's probably closer to 15-30 seconds if not more.
Have you tried playing around with the settings and what not? There can always been certain settings that your PC just doesn't like.
Well that's just it. It worked absolutely fine BEFORE those DLCs. After them though... this happened. And again, I just did a complete hard drive wipe last night and literally installed drivers and basics... and Payday 2. Same issue T_T
Does it happen on every heist or just specific ones? Also you might like to consider asking support.
Every heist. Even if I'm in the heist, and say I restart or fail the heist and it goes back and reloads, even if I was just in it, the loading speed is still disgustingly slow.
To explain that: Before levels usually loaded about 1.5-3 seconds long, depending seemingly on the levels size. Now it sometimes takes about 8-10 seconds which is way too slow.
Which loading times do you encounter?
EDIT: Nevermind, must have overread that. 30 Seconds is tough. Does the game load from a common HDD?
Or alternatively, run a defragmenter program and defragment your HDD, since payday 2 updates messes up all the files and fragments them everywhere. Most likely since the 3.6 GB bomb known as the bomb heist must have caused a lot of file fragmentation.
I see no reason to have to put it on the SSD when it worked fine before the updates, and is still working fine for others who have no SSD. And again, it's a completely fresh install, so I don't know how it could be fragmentation.
