How to stand and act against cloaker! [TUTORIAL]

Cloaker, Payday's witch. Most fearful enemy in the game. Sneaky spooks. But after learning cloakers awhile its pretty simple to find the cloaker and take him down.

Basic information

- Cloaker is armed with Compact-5 SMG and nightstick which he'll use once near you.
- Regular cloaker has 600HP
- DW cloaker has 1020 HP.

Cloaker's arrival

Cloaker usually comes in with other SWAT units within the big numbers to blend in more well. There are two options. 1] Cloaker instantly rushes at you. 2] Cloaker leaves and hides.

Ps: Once an cloaker is at scene a high-pitched idling sound can be heard!

Where can I find the cloaker

Often cloaker hides. And at first it can be pretty hard to find that basdardo

Also I want to cancel newcomers rumor, cloaker doesnt have ability to cloak/be invisible. [/b]

Here are few common places where you can find the cloaker [/i]

- Behind doors
- Under cars
- Just randomly on ground where they pretend to be dead
- On roofs
- Either under or behind bigger pieces of funiture.
- Vents

When you spot a cloaker than take him down instantly since hiding cloakers response time is approx 1.5secs

When cloaker is under a car its difficult to spot and kill them. For that use, frag granades are useful.

When it comes to vents than its highly suggested to place trip mines near the vents.
( Right under it when in explosive mode
( Near it when in sensor mode )

Sensor Mode - Sensor mode is similiar to marking by pressing F. Just without the need of player to be near by or pressing F [/b]

How to take down the cloaker

Cloaker's bodyshots are normal.
So I highly suggest going for the head of the cloaker. 1-2 shots are enough to take cloaker down with headshot, mostly.

Beside other units including Dozer, ECM Feedback [/u] DOESNT [/u] effect cloaker, doesnt eaven stun him. Meanwhile ECM feedback disables dozer for great 15secs.

When a teammate gets downed by cloaker

Lets say you f*cked up. Cloaker got you. So here are some helpful tips and facts about the cloaker and what to do.

- Being downed by cloaker doesnt activate the 'downed timer'
- Cloaker's punch DOESNT count as a down.
- Cloaker's punch can steal 25%-75% of player's health, tho. Depends on the difficulty.
- Cloaker usually (on 99,9% of cases) drops a smoke bomb. So dont rush in smoke. More likely cloaker is still nearby.
- Cloaker has 10sec 'punch' cooldown.
- Cloakers can jump over obstacles as tables, couches. So being in cover doesnt help much.
- Cloakers often work together with tasers, especially on DW difficult.
- After kicking a player, the Cloaker will sometimes taunt the victim, many of which involves him comically breaking the Fourth Wall. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_wall)
- Obviously cloaker can be heard by electric sound, marking cloaker's arrival

- Cloakers spawn in normal numbers 3-4 but when they use tactics they can be deadly, so stick with your team once you hear the cloaker's high-pitched idling sound.


By 'punch' I mean cloaker beating a player with nightstick.

Step 2: Aim at the cloakers head
Step 3: Try not to cry
Step 4: Cry alot
Step 5: Get kicked by the Cloaker and go into custody

Step 1: Memorize Cloaker spawn points and camp points.
Step 2: Go MedForcer with sprinkles of Tech and Ghost for trips and sprinting.
Step 3: Place trip mines under every vent and only use the RPG as a secondary.
Step 4: Laugh as Cloakers get blown up as soon as they spawn.
