Private Party
I just want to check the requirement for "Private Party", aside from the description (On the Jewelry store job, don't let the cops enter the jewelry store until the van comes back on OVERKILL difficulty or above.)
1) can it be done during stealth?
2) it's only for standard jewlery store, right?
3) Are there other requirements that are not listed? (Eg: The Pain Train require all louds, which is not in description)

I never even thought about doing this stealth. Smart man.
Rekalty Feb 26, 2015 @ 6:40pm
1: No, since the van wouldn't leave in the first place, unless you go loud.
2: Yes, classic Jewelty Store.
3: Cloakers that spawn inside the store don't count. And the van just has to return, you don't have to finish the heist. Just keep the front and side entrances (if you can consider windows entrances...) clear, and you'll be fine.

When does the van leave in stealth?

The van needs to leave, so assault mode is required.
Yes.
It won't matter loadouts. As long as nobody gets in the store, that's all that matters.

The moment the van leaves is when the alarm is raised. During that time to when it comes back, you can't let any cops enter the store to get the achievement. No need to do any objectives or anything like that, and cloakers don't count.

I would think that it could not be doing stealth. The wording's a little weird, but it specifically says "Until the van comes back." Does the van leave on stealth? No. It has to leave before it can come back, and it leaves when you go loud.

Other than that, I think that's all it really requires except being on Overkill or DW.

Now I'm left wondering. What if all players stand at the vantage point? Will that make enemies draw away from the store?

That's how I did it with bots. Don't take any hostages or bag anything and just sit there and snipe a cop or two once in a while.
Urazz Feb 26, 2015 @ 6:44pm
You can do it most of the way through stealth to my knowledge by getting all the bags needed turned in to the van first and then turn the heist loud and then wait for the van to come back and then leave. Much less to worry about when all you need to worry about is to survive, prevent cops from getting into the jewlery store, and then escape.

Yeah, that works. I killed all civs inside the store just in case hostage rescue went for them and then I just sat at the vantage point and got the achievement.

I figured maybe tossing bags all over out front may lure guards to pick them up and walk away with them, keeping them out of the store.

You dont need to complete the heist. Achieve unlocks when the van comes.

Well Jejman and I were getting it with the same host and got it, then I was playing with Pryo and he and the rest in the crew got it, using this strat.

Grabbing bags to lure cops away from the shop helps as well.

Never, that's why you can't do it in stealth directly. Feel free to get the bags in the van early - but you need to trigger the alarm to get the achievement.

I joined some random jewlet heist on normal and they wanted to do it. So I placed 2 full sentires outside the windows in the back so they each hadd full view of the windows, then slapped down a c4 outside of each widnow on the ground then used the final two c4 for the big windows at the front.

the sentires are also really nice for the 12 civs on night club.
