how the f*** do i equip weapon mods
Right. so the first thing i bought was a surpressor for my pistol, worked well enough, but now i bought a different pistol, so i try to equip it on the new one and it refuses to do so.
I figure that's just because it was still on my other pistol so i unequip it from that one, and get a message with ''the item will be moved to your inventory'' or something, but even after that i still just can't equip it on my new pistol...

Might i add that the way the made it redirect to the weapon preview instead of just saying ''no you can't equip that; here's why'' is frustrating as hell and i can't say that i appreciate it in any way.

Does that particular mod even show up for the weapon in question ?
Because it could be that it simply isn't available on both pistols.

You might not have enough money to buy it again when you put it on the other pistol. Don't ask why it's that way...

1) You dont have enough money.
2) You are trying to put on a suppressor which you dont have.
Although i have to agree when i started to play i found the inventory/modding system confusing as hell too.

But i used it on the first pistol, so obviously i do have it...right?

If you get an attachment in a drop, you only get one of it. You can only apply it to one weapon. You can however remove it and put it on the other gun.

No. You can't attach the same thing to two things at once.

Yes, you have one. When you remove it from that weapon and attach it to a new weapon YOU HAVE TO PAY once more. You did not get a weapon mod with the card drop, you won a "favor" from Gage that he would modify your weapon with one silencer.

Problem is that you do not have enough spending money to attach it. At least that is the case for 99% of players asking that question / having that complaint :-)

To reiterate what others have said:
1. You either are trying to attach a mod to a weapon which isn't compatible
2. Do not have the cash to pay for re-attaching the weapon mod to your 2nd weapon after removing it from the first

While it is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ system, it's for balencing purposes. Don't worry though, soon enough you'll have so much cash modding weapons won't at all be an issue.

It isnt really, it actually makes sense from balance, gameplay and game design perspectives. You just p*ssed because you did not understand it. Dont worry, you are not the only one, it is not like this game has a tutorial or a manual to explain everything, it is designed so that you have to learn everything the hard way ;-)
