It's more funnay than funny.
Maybe they didn't want to make another reload animation where you stick the other magazine into the gun.
But it looks cool though.
it does.
And wouldn't it have a mag switch time? instead of just 40?
Better.
I was hoping the reload animation would be switching the mag in a quick animation.
But reality hits. Asking Overkill to do new animation is like asking a McDonald employee to make a slightly more complicated order.
well, they did add new animations for all 5 hotline miami melee weapons.
even the bat which I was surprised had a new animation.
That would be like... a 400 ammo capacity
1) I really don`t notice a big difference for the new melee. Except for the briefcase.
2) I`ve been using the cleaver and the machette, which honestly. If you`re call those new animations, I`d say they just went the lazy route, and moved the animation offset a bit.
3) Rifle / guns animations are quite different than melee. Where melee is just 3 swings at most.
Range weapon, require few types of animation.
Idle
Running
Reload
Reload when empty
etc
And as for the skorpion reload animation. If it were to utilize the attatched second magazine, the animation would not just be a tweak from an existing animation.
All in all.
You can't honestly say, "Alright let's just add more ammo in a magazine count, by attatching a second magazine beside it, that the player will never use to reload. And that makes a huge load of sense, and certainly won't peeve some players off"
