infamety and your profile is private = kick
public profile and 120 skill points benefit of the doubt
i dont care if someone cheated to infamety 5 but follow the game rules when you play online
i would love overkill to make it so that cheaters can ONLY join cheater lobby's
this makes cheaters and legit players happy
I want to get achievements, does that affect your gameplay experience?
Not to encourage cheating, it's pretty obvious, isn't it.
If someone joins my lobby and starts to cheat away, I'm not ok with that - They rarely ask for permission.
If I join someone's lobby and they cheat away, I'm not ok with that - They rarely warn you before cheating.
They don't even need to intend to troll or ruin the game for me, worse, they often don't even think.
So, where, in those scenarios, is it ok to ruin my experience, since I also paid for the game, and therefore have as much rights as you seem to grant the cheaters?
If they warn me, ok. I can leave.
If they ask me in my game, and I say "no", and they leave, possibly without starting to insult me, ok.
They can do what they want inside their own offline game or with their cheater friends, even though technically everyone should know that
"I have bought the game, I can do with it what I want"
is dead wrong.
Read the EULAs of your games. But that's a whole different can of worms.
As far as I am concerned, I do not want to play with cheaters, period.
Since they are completely in the wrong, they better have the common courtesy to warn me or ask for permission when in my game.
That is all.
You guys said you're OK with people cheating offline, now you're not OK with it?
My goodness...
Man if OVERKILL really creates that, everyone will be happy and peaceful!
It doesn't affect my experience and honestly I don't even care if you cheat achievements, never even look through achievements in game. Was just stating that you have nothing against them because you used them. I just don't understand why cheat achievements because they are challenging and fun to get (at least for me).
But V-100 with 30 hours, 520/120 skill points, godmode etc. instant kick.
I now agree with you, honestly.
So cheating is only bad in PVP games? Nothing else?
So the cheaters who clog the leaderboard in Defense Grid 2 for example, are fully OK because it's not an PVP game but a Single Player/Coop game? And the Cheaters have all the rights to ♥♥♥♥ up the Leaderboards with insane scores because they just "enjoy the game" their way?
And in Payday 2 you have to endure Cheaters because it's PVE? So a Cheater with God-Mode is OK? A Cheater who makes the Cops not appear is fun? A Cheater who raises the worth of the money bags ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the money of all other players is OK?
What stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way of thinking is that?
Cheaters can cheat as long as they stay in Single Player Mode but when they enter a game of people who want to enjoy the game as it is and then start to cheat, that's just wrong. They simply destroy the game for the legit players. They kill all the fun.
Yes you are a cheater:
Tag the right truck on Election Day 1 unlocked August 22 @ 7:56 and then finished the second day in just 2 minutes @ 7:58
And how did you manage to finish Rats Death Wish at 12:05 and then Watchdogs Death Wish at 12:06?
Lord of the Flies unlocked at 12:26 on August 17, just like all the following:
Arachne's Curse unlocked at 12:27 (50 headshots in 1 minute?)
Pest Control unlocked at 12: 26 (250 headshots? so 150 in 1 minute?)
Seer of Death unlocked at 12:27 (250 more headshots in 1 minute?)
At the same you also unlocked Far, Far Away, Last Action Villain. all at 12:27 and 1 minute later you managed to not only kill 3 enemies at once but also 10 shields with your Thanatos transforming into an R93, which then turned into a Rattlesnake because at 12:30 you got Public Enemy No. 1.
And you managed to do all that on Shadow Raid (I Will walk faceless among Men unlocked at 12:30 too)
And then there are the Big Bank achivements. Hacked the Computer at 11:40 and finished the heist at 11:41...
I'm just trying to discuss something on the contrary side of view.
Good day, sir! :D
whell they are working on anti cheat software just make it instead of banning them mark them for only cheater games (permanent) i would love to see the forum fill up with cheater complain about the other cheater in their games maybe then te'll finally understand why legit players hate them
