Lights out lab on big oil

Is this a thing? I just had it to where the lab was almost completely black save for muzzle flashes creating light.

I think it happens when guards turn off the power, pretty annoying without a flashlight.

Well, they do cut the power to the lab so you can't see the engines. You can either go upstairs and fight your way to the power box, or bring a flashlight. Which you should, as i'm going to assume you have the Courier pack and the super awesome military laser module.
If you don't, bring a flashlight on your secondary.
