I found you can throw the bags from the lower roof directly into the back of the van securely and quite consistently.
I missed once and one landed on the roof of the van, but I was able to jump up high enough while behind the van to start grabbing it, and safely got it into the loot drop zome without accidentily escaping.
I was pretty terrified the whole time because I had spent an hour on it and didn't want to lose my progress, but the trick is to just be careful and take your time at that last part.
Sucks though, want some help on another attempt a little later?
Spoon: Thanks for the offer, but I am at work right now and won't be online for like 8 or 9 hours. I tried throwing them in to the back of the van from up there, but apparently my aim sucks. And I kept getting detection pings from wandering civvies. After a couple had landed on top of the van, I figured forget it, I will deal with it on exit.
Looking back on my own failures at solo'ing BB for Entrapment, it took me a couple of attempts... comical as they might have been. The first time I tossed all but one of the bags into the van, then made a jump to the ground. Cat Burglar couldn't save me from that deceptive leap. Second time I did the usual routine of getting maybe 10 bags tossed into the van from the roof, but I thought I'd be cute and jump on top of the van to break my fall this time. Well my logic was sound there, but I didn't think the whole thing through. Entrapment denied.
Third time was a charm though.
It's possible on a few levels. If you do ever fall through the floor, try and wiggle and crawl your way off the edge of the map so you fall down into the abyss - if you get low enough (just a few seconds) it will teleport you to the closest player.
