Payday 2 too big! Please help!

when i download Payday 2 it says it's aorund 25 gb, but it ends up being around 40. Can I do anything to make it smaller? I have a majority of the DLC btw, so I'm guessing it's that, but i just want confirmation from some other people. Thanks!

Games always take up more space than their download takes, and installing them takes even more space. Get a better HD, or clear some space up.

Also, all the DLC is installed on every game, so the amount you have doesn't affect the size of your game

Even without the dlc purchased those updates are still in the game. So sadly there isn't much you can do. 25 may have been the base game ages ago but now its 40. And it does kinda suck given that this game isn't very well optimized. My computer has no trouble with it but I feel the pain man.

Either get a different/bigger HD or uninstall some of the games you don't play anymore.

Except, the game (with both soundtracks installed) is only 18.6gb on my computer. Without the soundtracks that should be closer to 16.6gb.

FYI the size of the game is always under minimum requiremnt to run on the store page
