Constant crashes on joining public lobbies
Hi. I'm getting constant crashes when or almost instantly after joining public lobbies, the system is more than capable of handling pd2. The OS is Win 10. Perhaps, somebody experienced this as well?

This means the game ran out of memory. This is nothing to do with your hardware: the game only has a limited amount of internal memory and, unfortunately, is poorly optimised. This kind of crash is somewhat more common on the later released heists. To avoid this crash, turn down your Texture/Shadow Quality.

Nothing. It just crashes without any errors. Sometimes happens even in my own lobbies.

The game never automatically shows you a crash log, you have to find them yourself.

You can also help with that crash by 4 GB patching your exe, letting the 32 bit application use 4gb of ram instead of 2 before crashing. Unfortunately it's just something that never got fixed.

This will not work as it is already Large Address Aware, AFAIK.

Yup, lowered the texture resolution from high to medium and didn't have any crashes since, tested out on several most recent heists. Thanks!

The issue itself is kinda dumb, ngl

Niri is correct, the patch doesn't do anything.

That the game can't even handle itself on it's own highest settings? Yeah.
