If you like Payday 2 then yes just dont expect it to be the exact same, otherwise its not half bad wait until its on sale to get the Gold Edition or standard
absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even this long after release
Payday3 is a good game. In fact i would even go as far to say it's starting to creep past payday2.
It had a rocky launch sure, it turned a lot of people away because of server issues and the levelling up system but those have been fixed / updated now.
Buy it- if you don't like it, refund it

You better ask this question on payday 3 hub.
Yes get it.
It's not a bad game just seriously lacks the charm Payday 2 has and that is reflected in the player count, Unfortunately due to the disastrous launch Payday 3 had many players refunded and abandoned the game however it has improved a lot over the last year and will continue to improve over this year, But yeah buy it and try it if it's not for you them you can refund it.
It’s not bad, it’s much better than it was on launch, yet it’s still not that great.
If I were to compare it to something, I’d say it feels similar to when Payday 2 launched in Early Access rather than a full release though.
Personally I’d wait for some more content to be added, or snag it on sale.

payday 3 is really good, just lacks content. i like the gunplay, gameplay, and overall feel of it much more than pd2.
No. Payday 3 severely lacks content, as you can play all of it within single digit hours. The best content in the game is just Payday 2 content reskin to fit within the Payday 3 design philosophy, and the same goes for the now re-releasing DLC that already exists in Payday 2 since they don't want to make anything original to add as DLC. The build variety is far worse and based on more "just stats and not strats." There is a reason why nobody cares about builds for Payday 3, because you don't need to think about it if you can beat overkill heists with barely anything at all given the way that progression works in this game. Cosmetics, flat out suck in this game compared to Payday 2, basically just micro-transaction heavy and for what? Cosmetics that don't mean anything unlike Payday 2 whereby certain cosmetics actually mean something and show who the player actually is. The game is too easy with only 4 difficulty modes, baby mode, easy, normal, and still too easy modes. The objectives are worse. If you think waiting around for a drill wasn't good, oh boy does waiting in a circle to quote on quote "hack" the Wifi even less enjoyable and dumb, or have just even more confusing RNG spawning puzzle objectives because everyone liked those, and the way that assault waves are designed is kind of stupid, in that you will usually get a few waves that are stupid easy, followed by one endless annoying onslaught for the rest of the heist. The new armor system stuff kind of sucks and turns armor into "the tankier/more armor you have, clearly the better" and it kind of screws the balance up and turns it into a "if you can take the most hits while avoiding hits as much as you can, that's the best" turning games into simply camp fests going from one form of cover to another, or just going way off to another part of the map that the cops aren't even in since their spawn rates are so low. The same applies to weapons, what simply does enough damage, and can recover ammo good, is the best, nothing else. Payday 3 tried to evolve the Payday 2 formula, but in doing so made for a worse game that lacks difficulty, lacks the strategy, appeals to casuals too much, and lacks the replay-ability that Payday 2 had.

I'd rather use my money to buy Garfield Kart Furious Racing because that way I don't need to wait for all the updates to come out, payday 3 can wait tbh lets give it a few years.

Nope, there's a lot of things I prefer in PD2 such as weapon system & VR support which PD3 lacks.
