How do you morally justify robbing a bank?

When i join the game and hear hoxton singing about how happy is he is to rob banks on christmas doesnt it just seem... wrong?

like i understand the class struggle with the greedy capitalists aspect - - but it seems like a bad thing to do in general. too much risk of hurting people who arent part of the 1% banker class,

Robbing a bank is probably one of the more friendly things the gang does in the game, you know, compared to assassinations, sabotage, stealing nuclear warheads, etc. A bank job is tame by comparison. The gang have never really cared about civilians - they keep the money for themselves and don't give to charity or do anything to help society around them.

By robbing a bank, you would hurt the taxpayers, not the actual bank, let alone the government. It's how the banking works per se, basically. =)

Justification is different for every bank.

Brooklyn Bank, well we are after the talisman, the bank is just a front anyway.

Go Bank, pretty sure with the whole counter strike element, that thing is a front for terrorists.

The normal Bank Heist and FIrestarter in particular, well I do try to avoid civilian casualties and considering the bank managers movements and the two dog hurting punks in the lot, I am pretty sure he is involved in dogfighting or something.

First World Bank, ok you got me here no real justification. This is just tradition.

Big Bank, ok let's be honest we are sort of forced into doing this job anyway.

Election Day, day 2. Well this is another forced into doing the job situation.

And the bank job in Election Day's Day 2 is a Plan C for when you either tag the wrong truck on Day 1 during stealth or didn't hack enough if things went loud on Day 1.
