Hoxton's Mask Logic.

Ok. question:
We all know hoxton got burned and he's a ♥♥♥♥ about houston. but how did he AND his mask get burned?

heres what I know-

• Hoxton's burns where caused by acid (Or other liquid)(As acid burns appear on his face, Id share some google photos on acid burns but most would not like it)
  
• Hoxton's mask has burn marks in the same area, he presumably made/gotten his mask in prison ( He had in his jacket when he was on his way to the courtroom.)

This means, Hoxton had his mask on, when he was burned. Why would a prison holding a dangerous bank robber let Hoxton (Or anyone else for that matter) wear anything like that.
That brings me to another question. Since it was an acid burn, how did the liquid go through the mask and reach hoxtons face?

• The eye hole? That would mean his eye would be scarred (Which doesn't apear to be the case)
  
• A hole in the mask/hole burned out by the acid? Then how did the rest of his face get scared, and why are there no holes in his mask (Just black burn marks.).
  
• The liquid didn't go though? Then how was his face burned.
  
• His mask and face were seprate burns? Why would a prison have 2 acidents involving the same prisoner, and acid that can cause burns. How did it get very simliar burn markings aswell?
  
• It happened befoe he was in prison? Then why did he have a spare mask that Dallas, Wolf, or Chains did not know about.

This doesn't make any sense that he had a mask in prison,then was burned with the mask on, AND SOMEHOW the liqiud still burned his face.


Yes, I know his burned face was something to do with copyrights on the Hoxton model and it's supposed to be symbolic about how he was left to rot, etc.[/spoiler

Hoxton got his face burned and because that was part of him, I imagine he reflected that in his mask and made the burn on the mask himself.

I agree with the last part. I don't see how he was able to create his new mask in prison without any of the guards noticing it.

Hoxton's mask represents his time in prison. He made the burn on it to match his burned face.

My theory is that Hoxton was part of the prison custodial staff and spilled some floor cleaner on his face somehow, as for the mask he probably made is secretly and hid it in a janitor's closet and it fell off a shelf or some chemicals spilt and got on the mask.

You'd be surprised what you get away with in prison, just have to get the right people to look the other way.

Ok, that's true. Now where I think about it, Bain must at least have one contact person in prison. Otherwise Hoxton wouldn't know the meaining of the dollar bill in the breakout trailer.

Or get the materials for the mask.

Someone could've made the mask for him, and snuck it in.

I think everyone is a bain informant. The amount of cash he processes... he could easily have enough spare cash to pay anyone.

He made it in the arts and crafts class taught in the prison.
