pd2 wont start

my pd2 doesnt start and have been trying to fix it for days, when i press start it says launching and then just stops before even opening the game, no error message or anything and i dont get an error message when i run in admin ill tell everyone what doesnt work in an attempt to fix it, admin does nothing, verifying does nothing, mods do nothing because i have everything wiped and theres people with the same problem who has never had mods, compatibility does nothing, theres a lot more things i have tried that didnt help either but i cant remember them at this time, if any1 has any idea on how to fix please help

Try deleting the file WSOCK32 or something like that i still cant play with mods, or even update them, so try deleting that file on ur folder of the game it might be in the bottom when u open it. I deleted it and i can play

See in mods/logs folder or appdata/Local/Payday2

And see crash log

is will show you the conflict, error ect

same issue here. i have no Payday 2 folder in my local files, so i can't acces to any crash.txt file, am i alone with this ?

No people your issues are not always 100% the same, OP already fixed his issue by updating his mods because he didnt properly remove them in the first place:

What i need is that each one of you individually go the bug report subforum and descripe the issue more:

-is the game not opening after you click play on steam?
-is the game opening and crashing inside the main menu or somewhere else? Did you check the crashlog in the game %appdata%\..\local\PAYDAY 2\crash.txt folder if this is happening?
-did you use mods previously?
-did you disable compatibility mode?
-do you get any error message if you run the game .exe as admin? and what is that code?

If you didnt do any of these we cant know what your issue is, thats why it's VERY important that you all make your own threads so people dont bring a different issue that has a different fix that wont work for you
