Only use it if your crime.net is empty. No player contracts visible, just Bain or Vlad's open contracts. It made my crime.net empty after I put it in. If it ain't broke, there's no need for unnecessary launch parameters.

For me it makes crime.net empty lol. I have to set filters to far for some hosted heists to appear.

Its empty because the lunch parameter limits your matchmaking to only people who have the same lunch parameter too. Over time, if they won't fix the game, it'll fill by players.

the reason crimenet appears empty is because you arent waiting the (painfully long) amount of time for the list of servers to populate.

Also seen plenty of people with mods join (including quite a lot of cheaters).

Been hosting and joining with -steamMM while using my usual infohud and game performance mods. Haven't been a prob. Yeah, I'd say there's less games than usual. Don't wanna wait to find one? Just host one. Ppl will show up. Given the amount shown, safe to say they're either not in (ping) close vicinity or doing friend lobby games. Oh and no save getting scuffed over here.

The -steamMM parameter works fine for me, both for hosting and joining others, and I even run a light amount of QoL mods as well. The worst thing that happens is the game might crash on day transitions.

Disagree OP, mandatory for me to even properly play the game now in pubs. Otherwise it's disconnection here, disconnection there. It's everywhere and I saw bugs never seen before prior to U237.
