Golden AK, is it really worth it?

Apparently, the Golden AK has almost identical stats to the other AK 7.62, and I'm somewhat disappointed by it. I wanna hear from you guys, is there a point to the golden AK, apart from adding a little bling to your collection?

Nope. In fact, since it has a worse concealment than the standard 762, it's actually a worse gun since there is no scenario where having a lower concealment is a good thing. As our 500k reward, a reskin that's worse than the original is a really weak ass prize.

my original AK 762 is full power house with a 75 round mag, most powerful muzzle break, thumbhole stock and high threat factor.
my lilly AK74 is a mini version of the big boy, but has zero accuracy. good for close quarter, enclosed room clearance.

i turned the gold Ak into a long barrel single shot model. looks kool but a bit tricky when online.
i guess its just a show piece.

imagine if PD2 had the same weapons workshop as Killing Floor......!?!?!

So is the AK 762.

I'm just disappointed that it's ugly.

It really shouldn't be better in any way, it should just be pretty. But it isn't.

But then again I have an aversion to gold in general. Black and silver is the way to go.

Sometimes concealment literally makes no difference.

It comes down to whether you want to use it or not really.

maybe if i mod it like my prime 762, i might get an even higher threat rate, due to the gold..
the threat rate seems to make some of the guards and civvies give up quicker.

It's an ugly AK762 that has worse stats than its original counterpart.

I don't use rifles, but I use it to taunt friends who had to earn their AK gold through rifle mastery in another FPS game, which wasn't easy to attain.

It costs more than the AK.762 (it's around $300k).

The only reason to use it is for the two related achievements.
