Sewer Rats Achievement
"In the GO Bank job, complete the heist having secured all bags of cash via the sewers on the OVERKILL difficulty or above."

Hi guys, I want to do this Achievement. I know basically what it is, so instead of putting bags in a cage on roof, you go in the sewers with them, but how do you trigger the sewers like that? Do you just NOT go on roof and finally Bain will open the sewers? Or is it random 50% chance roof 50% sewers?

Activate the sky cage and don't put any bags in it. It will be picked up even if it's empty and the Sewer escape will trigger.

From what Mutant said, it is ALSO possible for the chopper to be shot down if it misses several times (seems to be rare, only had it happen once on DW so far) and you need to use the sewers either way. It is not an easy time down there. Good luck with it.

The escape timer on that heist is one of the most bull**** parts of the entire game. Way, way too little time.

My idea for this is tohave one, or two, person in Light-ish armor you want the speed later
Stealth and get all the bags, then find where the sewer is I think there is only one ( Haven't checked)
Alert the cops, After the cage is gone, throw the bags down the sewer before going in then, Have the one in light armor run forward and find the exit, while everyone throws the bags forward following the one who found the exit.
I haven't tested this all the way through, but you should have 30 seconds left when all the bags are in.
Enforcer armor might not be a good choice here.

It really helps to have shaped charges, in case you encounter any locked gates in the sewer.

And I've always wondered something about this achievement... it says "...having secured all bags of cash via the sewers..." Does "all bags" mean you have to completely empty the vault, or does it just mean "all of the bags you managed to escape with?" For instance, could you launch an empty skyhook, and then carry just one bag through the sewers and still get the achievement?

There are at least three potential entrances to the sewers I have encountered, but only one will be activated by Bain. There's one near the drive-thru, one in the street in front of the gas station, and another somewhere around (maybe inside?) the car repair place next to the bank. I have only encountered that last one once, which is why I don't quite remember where it was. The street and drive-thru are much more common.

You actually need to toss one bag in the cage to raise the balloon... then you can get the bag out of the cage to take through sewers when plane is done (crashing or picking up empty cage).

The third one is in the parking lot in the back near the fence dividing the front and back and nearby the car repair place

Nah, Saw is better. Opens boxes on the earlier part.

As help navigating the sewers: make note where the hotel is. The escape is in the hotel garage. Thus from your sewer entrance you want to take forks that take you closer to where the hotel is.

All the bags.Me and my friends tried with only 2 bags,but the achievement didn't pop up :(

All the bags.Me and my friends tried with only 2 bags,but the achievement didn't pop up :(
Ah... So it should be all 8ish bags then... That's pretty hard to get to the van in time.

Fast Hands, Transporter, get the bags onto the sewer manhole before you open it and THEN open it (causing most bags to fall down already) and then constantly throw bags towards the end.
Also, hope for the hole on the parkinglot behind the bank or the fence next to the bank.

You can open it. The timer doesn't start until you climb down into the sewer. So you can just throw the bags down into the sewer first.

I know this very well because me and my crew failed this heist just yesterday.
