Achievement reset

Hey, so I found the guide on how to reset game progress and achievements in-game and I'd like to do that. My question is, if I use this mod, will my steam achievements reset as well?

If you follow this guide and use the mentioned mod you will get a full reset including all Steam achievements and PD2 statistics (FBI files).

Oh, yeah, that's the guide I was talking about
So, just to confirm, it will reset my achievements in Steam itself, not just in the game, right? Because it's the only reason why I want to reset my progress.

well, your achievements in the steam app are tied to your profile and cannot be reset in any way,
Once unlocked there is no way to relock them.

What you can do is use Family Share, create a new account and share the game with the new account, then play it on there. That new account can get all achievements again.

maybe you could figure out how to reset the achievements in-game though

nope, as the guide says - it resets everything. including the Steam achievements.

how is it possible for someone to edit steam's achievement database? ive never heard of that happening

There is a way, but usually people use it for the opposite - to gain all achievements at once.

I inow you can do it with Steam API. I killing floor 2, I do believe there is a console command to reset achievements.

In Team Fortress 2 you can reset your achievements. The ones who were on process of getting them will remain. So it is possible as long as game allows it

u can if u download achievment unlocker or something similiar it is illegal but steam doesnt detect it YET
