So, just to confirm, it will reset my achievements in Steam itself, not just in the game, right? Because it's the only reason why I want to reset my progress.
Once unlocked there is no way to relock them.
What you can do is use Family Share, create a new account and share the game with the new account, then play it on there. That new account can get all achievements again.
maybe you could figure out how to reset the achievements in-game though
In Team Fortress 2 you can reset your achievements. The ones who were on process of getting them will remain. So it is possible as long as game allows it
