Update stuck at 100%

For whatever reason PD2 updates take an age to unpack and install after downloading fully. It's nothing to do with how fast your computer or internet connection is, it's more likely to be Steam's handling of the game archives being plain slow.

The % only means the progress of the download.

Steam still has to unpack and apply the content after you've downloaded it.

No, it's just the terribly slow way Payday 2 is updated.

This bugged me also. An install or "unpacking" bar wouldn't hurt to be added into steam, right?

Well when I clicked on DOWNLOADING the chart that shows my download activity it just stopped, like my internet died or something? Was like that until it finished downloading.

Real progress bar you find on download TAB on steam. Dont trust percentage.
I got download 100% but real progress was 20%.
Game must unpack files and install it too.

We told you that you DONT DOWNLOAD PATCH, you told that you got 100%.
Steam UNPACK and INSTALL it, so you dont see any download activity, jesus christ.
Look on timer and blue bar on download activity Tab.
