The use of buying contracts
New player here since yesterday.

So what is the use of buying contracts? I'm hesitant to try it out because it seems so expensive. Why would I buy a contract if I can just pick it when it shows up randomly?

Should i just save up offshore money for infamy / gambling? (If so which 1)

They don't always give you the one that you want and you can buy it as a way to either get xp or money. It won't count your bonus on that mission toward buying it though, stealth bonuses will apply though. I almost never buy missions.

The Contract Purchase feature is purely to allow heisters to play *any* heist they demand at *any* time instead of having to be at the mercy of random Crime.net job opportunities.

The EXP Boost system will not apply to bought contracts, so keep that in mind.

As for what to spend your Offshore Account on, I'd lean against the side of going Infamous as with gambling, you *never* prosper.

When playing on Overkill or Deathwish, difficulties most of the levels do not scale to well. In terms of exp or cash, rewards. So buying levels lets gangs play levels with adequate rewards and skip over jobs that are not worth doing. Waiting for one of these jobs to show up randomly on the heist board just takes too long.

Save your offshore for infamy levels. I gambled a few times but it is just not worth the price. By playing enough jobs you will get a lot of payday cards. Also the Gauge Courier DLC trivialized most of the weapon attachments.

If you have a team of four friends and you cycle who buys the contracts you can get full xp and roughly 3/4 of the off shore pay, but much faster because you dont have to wait for heists to randomly pop up.
