Anyway to improve LMG's?
Can I add attachments to tighten its aim?

Attachments that boost accuracy will thighten the spread of the gun.

Sadly you can't do a whole lot with them from what I've seen. I've not played with the first or third.

Gage Courier pack dlc has several attachments that fit lmgs, specially the KSP. You can make the KSP very stable and accurate with those mods.

Currently trying to get the most out of my current LMG builds, the 21E is what I'm using since it has a higher base damage though still can't get them past 10 accuracy, and they are apparently hard set for 24 stability and under.

Brenner should get 12 accuracy with 40 damage I think? That's the one I use if I need a bit more range on an LMG. KSP is more ammo and faster firerate but poor accuracy so it's mainly for holding the stairs ratsd1.
Stability if someone in the team has leadership aced should be fine so I don't really pay attention to it. Besides burst fire and trigger discipline are an engrained habit.

Laser sights do make a massive difference for lmgs to make them more useable

not sure what attachments to use to get that accuracy and still keep the 40 damage honestly.

Without skills it is 38 damage, enforcer bonus bumps it up. Competitor's Compensator was the main choice as I remember, for 10+2 accuracy.

Same 38/40 damage for my KSP, but it's only 6 accuracy heh. No need for accuracy on that anyway, just wait until they get nice and lined up in the stairwell

Stats are incorrect; 21E damage is 33 stock, SAW 23 same with the RPK, not gonna bother specing to enforcer just to make the 21E a bit better by default. Currently I have to use the Long barrel, fire breather muzzle device, short foregrip, laser/light combo, Ergo Grip. Max Stability is 35 for LMGs apparently.

Which stats are incorrect? I never said stock, I just said my Brenner without skills (i.e. as currently modded) is 38, so not quite sure where you're meaning unless it's a misread. Enforcer 5% damage bonus gets a few things over important numbers, besides for louds I usually run techforcer so that's what most of my weapons are built for

The way you worded it, IE without skills was misleading, tends to also mean just plain Jane. Mostly a Tech mixed with a little bit of everything, but as far as weapon skills go mostly it's the Mastermind's stability added with the Techs plus the headshot bonus. As far as the build I guess I've got it stretched to the max unless I shift over to a more enforcer centric build which I don't plan on doing.

Yeah I can't do much to them, just tired a few more configurations can't seem to get past that 40 damage and 10 accuracy without sacrificing one or the other. It’s just the backwards way that Overkill has these mods set up to change the stats.

Even without the Long Barrel available to me, I managed to bring my KSP up to 12 accuracy with the Competitor's Compensator and War-Torn Stock. That's not great, but given that I can't use a sight on it anyway, it seems adquate.

Lasers man. LASERS. Good on you for managing that accuracy on the KSP, what's the damage on it like though? Still hitting the important numbers?

My KSP has 10 accuracy and 33 stability (with the Mastermind perk)

In particular, SHARKS with LASERS!

Oh, wait, you mean, do I use a laser on my build? Yes, the Military Laser module, because concealment is hopeless anyway and it adds a couple of extra points of stability.

Damage is 33, which is nowhere near the magic 40 (I have Tech's headshot bonus), but it's good enough that three hits in the head will kill an MFR, and it's got enough ammo that I can live with that.

If I had a Railed Foregrip (+5 dmg), replacing the Competitor's Compensator with a Fire Breather nozzle would bring the damage up to the magic 40. But that would come with a reduction of not only a couple of points of accuracy, but modded stability moving from 18 to 12, which I suspect would make it a bit twitchy even with short bursts.
