Speaking of Hologram: I am using the Cross (3rd one I think) for short ranged stuff and a DOT for my midrange snipers. Usually in either blue or red as they stand out the most.
A good idea is to go for "PREVIEW WEAPON WITH THIS MOD" in the inventory, then moving the preview weapon thing so that you can peek through the sight, saves you the time to load up the safehouse and the cash to attach the classic sights!
Without a doubt, Theia for DLC sniper rifles.
Are you playing on a 5" screen or something?
The reticle i use is always dot 3 in green or red.
Red Dot 3 on everything.
*edit* I mainly just try to stay away from the Gage sights because all of them except the Combat sight are in appalling condition, cracked and smudged and that... well that annoys me.
Prefer iron sights on my pistols, but there's nothing wrong with the pistol red dot.
Depending on the pistol the Red Dot doctor optic for the pistols can help to improve its accuracy stats with only a concealment negative, however on some the upgraded iron sights are actually more beneficial statically.
If only Overkill gave the player the option, like we should, to choose how we mount out optics or at least not having almost every single optic in a high mount there would be actually far more viable options then there are now. The other issue is that some optics work better then they would on other weapons, for instance the SCAR H, the AK5 and I think the AUG, all ADS a lot closer to the optic then many other weapons. So if you like other optics like the EOTECH then those would be platforms that you could them on without loosing too much vision around the target.
