If I have a DLC and my friend doesn't, can we play together?

Probably a nooby question, but, I'm new to the game!

So, I was wondering. If I were to buy all of the DLC's for Payday 2, and my friend only had say 1 of them, wouldwe still be able to play together? My hunch is that I would still be able to use the weapons and masks, but not play on the maps. And if they didn't have the courier, the packages wouldn't show up. Could anyone confirm that for me?

you can play together. packages are on every mission regardless of owning the dlc, but you only get the mods if you have the dlc, along with a tiny exp bonus that everyone gets. you can play on the maps and use the weapons and masks without issue.

The guy/girl who doesnt own the DLC can still play with people who has the DLCs. The guy who owns the DLC maps can host them, and the guy/girl who dont own it, can join and play.

I.e you host an armored transport heist, and he/she doesnt own it, can join you.
