Rats DW blow up possibility ?

I know blowing up the lab in DW is like a nuclear explosion, and kills everyone.
But as it puts you in bleedout, i thought that pistol messiah (or nine lives ace) will allow you to being revived, and to succeed the Rats day 1 without cooking any meth bag.
The most important thing to know is if the cops are also killed by the nuke or not.
Did someone already tried it ? Does it work, or the game says "you lose", even if you're revived ?

The flames will stay on the map, so it's impossible to survive.

Interesting idea, never tried myself, but keep in mind when everyone is downed the game will end after a few seconds even if you have time left before custody, so you have to get the shot off quickly to have any chance.

Then again, if you do pull it off, you'll probably have to wait 3 minutes for the van as well, which would be a ♥♥♥♥♥ to do alone on DW. Let me know how it goes, or if you want, I might have some time to try with you tonight (more people with pistol messiah probably gives better chance)

Nope. Everyone will be instantly down (and no, that does NOT mean the cops are dead in any way - they are not affected by it). And even if you manage to somehow get back up, the van will never arrive. Meaning on Deathwish, you have no option besides cooking.

Yes it is POSSIBLE. Just camp at basement and let someone blow the lab then revive yourself using pistol messiah/nine lives or let someone join while host is downed somewhere safe enough to revive everybody.

Again, it is NOT possible as the van NEVER ARRIVES. Meaning you can't escape, period.

You can survive the initial explosion, but like Bindal says the van never arrives.

But i understand what OK wants by that. A real difficulty (because everyone knows Rats is an XP rush mission), without any other solution than cooking or lose.

Actually, it's possible. I've done it before. However, flames stay on the map which makes it really hard to survive. The van also never comes, so you can't escape.

This, it's possible to survive for a bit but the van never comes you can't win.
