- Open up "renderer_settings.xml" with Notepad++ , or with Editor.
- On the "Modes (width x height x refresh):" section, underneath it, and above 800x600, you write your wished resolution size in. - Do not forget to copy all "x(numbers)" which stand behind 800x600, so that you have the exact same amount of (Resolution)x(numbers) as the 800x600 one.
- Under "<renderer_config>" at "resolution = [Current one]" - change it to the wished resolution size: e.g. 600 400.
- You also can customize the refresh rate.. at, logically "refresh_rate =".
Depends... if it is playable for yourself, then you are the one who has to decide it. By far, maps with high foliage, or huge maps, would send the FPS to the deep.
Though you should get a dedicated card.
Hm.. for me, my FPS falls for around 10 FPS.. so approx 50 FPS when im playing maps with high foliage. Before upgrading my PC, i used to play with 20-35 FPS. Played the game like that for 600 hours.
