Any tips for getting this achievement solo???
or any tips at all

Do it on normal with a full tech build, guard the drill and the power with a sentry gun and tripmines. Also, buy all upgrades for BFD that speed things up and those for the extra battery and the bigger water tanks. Sentrys should do all the work, but listen for tripmines to explode - just in case. It was a walk in the park for me solo.

alrighty thanks man, didn't feel like exploring this map with other players, so been learning everything on my own. i thought about a tech build just wanted to see if anyone did anything differentr

If you buy the larger water tanks and all the upgrades to make it faster, you only need to refill one of the water tanks, just to make sure it doesn't jam when the 2nd tank gets emptied, which only has ~1 min left before you can enter the vault.

Nope as always with these "dont let them cut the power" achievements, sentrys are your best choice. Tripmines just to be sure, mine never went off.
