PSA: The Secret E3 Masks

Hey there everyone.

A little while ago, i noticed that people were selling those shiny new E3 masks that OVERKILL Software were handing out.

I would like to make this abundantly clear.

DO NOT BUY THE CODES!

In the next coming weeks, these codes will be all over the place. do not waste your money!


Keys from this thread are all gone (thanks ninjas) but you can still get them here!

As you can see here. These codes are in plentiful supply, given to many MANY people. Do not waste your hard earned money feeding the people who want to make a quick profit on selling the masks.

This is why you should wait for Goonmod's Gage-Code shop to update,to remove all traces of RNG :D

Goonmod requires that you own the DLC first, its no trainer DLC unlocker. fox is talking about codes for the masks which is a form of DLC product code.

Hello! Almir gave The $ecret Crew a lot of E3 Secret Mask keys. We usually give away stuff via streams (With people spamming random numbers :P) or via the clan's chat but we're looking on other ways to give them away fairly.

Any cool ideas just feel free to post them here and I'll let the clan leader know.

I guess I will just hold myself back about Almir's decision. This is nothing against you guys, I just hate the way Almir is handling the stuff.

If you want to give them away I think the best way to do so is make people do awesome stuff.

Since there is "a lot" maybe put them on trade? Using keys or something. Let the community decide the price though.

They were given the codes to hand out to others in any way they deem fit (streams, giveaways, contests, etc), but not to "sell" them.

Yeah like... We're supposed to give them away, not sell them. We also have a lot of masks if you count them as individual keys (Like, a steam key per mask) but not full sets so I'm trying to find a way to give away full sets too for more rare or more difficult giveaways to win.

Do a raffle, require a public profile, require so many achievements or hours put into the game so that way the people who win are people who will use it. Otherwise you run into dupe accounts and people who will most likely sell them if they win. You could always do something else but this seems to be the fairest way to give them out imo.

That seems to be a valid requirement. These masks are supposed to go towards people who actually play the game so I guess we'll do that.

One way or another OVERKILL always did it since Payday 1 lol, secret mask, troll mask etc...
