Armor piercing
If you don't count sniper rifles that already has that in base your only 2 options are either using rogue perk deck or use silenced weapons with both silent killer and the proffesional aced.

Since the nerf on rogue and the buff on crook I prefer to use crook however, my guns are quite noticebly less effective since I don't have the armor piercing from rogue and for my build to work I need inspire aced and sneaky bastard basic making it impossible for me to even get just a tiny but of armor piercing. My suggestion is to simply just add armor piercing to other skills or just add a bit of tiny armor piercing to ''fast and furious''

Anyone else got a good idea?

Armor Piercing is not effective, stop trying to get it.

All it does is give you a chance to bodyshot tans, which you should not be doing. Armor Piercing can not pierce shields or walls. It's useless.

Armour piercing from rogue/ghost skill tree and sniper rifles AP are two different things. The first works on tans body armour only when sniper rifles can even shoot through obstacles.

Honestly, you shouldn't rely on armor piercing. It's nice just in case a stray bullet hits someone in the chest or something, but you're really better off going to for headshots. More damage, less ammo used, better chances of getting your ammo back. It's just a huge waste because you do way less damage in the end and on top of that, you only have a chance to do damage.

With that said though, you still could be using rogue if armor piercing was that important to you. It's only 5%. It's not really a big difference.

There are AP slugs for your shotguns.
...but they're pretty underwhelming.
And only for shotguns.

Iirc, those skills and perks only give *a chance* to pierce armor anyway, which isn't reliable enough to count on when you can just blow their face off anyway. :ursula:

When I use rogue it just feels like the armor piercing applies to helmets too

Heavy AR's like Scar-H, G3, FAL, AK 7.62 should have armor piercing ability by default. But shields should be bullet proof anyway, of course.

It might also be effected by the accuracy and stability of whatever weapon OP is using and the distance they are firing from. If the cluster of shots aimed at the head are also routinely hitting the body, they might sometimes be doing a little extra damage there. That said everyone in this thread has been right, AP from rogue and ghost is next to useless.

Or better give Armour/shield piercing to DMR kits.
