Baitface Mask

What the hell did just happen?

It is now another ugly mask like the Coulrophobia ones from Crimefest 2014.

Bring my trollface back please and stop messing up with everything you touch.

EDIT: Obviously copyright issues for both Payday: The Heist and Payday 2. But they should have changed the name of the replacement and not made it that much ugly.

Why the hell did they replace Baitface instead of adding this as an extra one?

OK, it was just a lame meme mask and I don't care much about, but still, it is a waste of resource. I can't find no reason for them to do this because as far as I know, memes aren't copyrighted. :p

^ This, it was one of the only masks I didn't have in my collection but it was still unique and i'd considered getting it, but 'eh' now

Can somebody check if the troll mask on PD1 got changed too as it just got an update (besides of that debug menu that I think it was probably accidentally rolled in)?

Somebody said around Facepunch that the original author of the "troll face" threatened legal actions against Overkill or something like that.

The troll face masks are free though? OVK doesn't make money of those, i thought the copyright guy only goes after ppl who use it for profit?

this is just another in a string of consistent major disappointments.

would give the troll mask to almost nobody in payday: the heist, release it as a reward in payday 2, wait 1 week, then change it to something ugly and bearing absolutely no resemblance to its former self.

oh, and thanks for the crappy checkmate gun skin for my COP reward.

can you guys figure out some way to make me hate you and your games and your company even more, now that you have all my monies for all your dlcees?

The masks are free but the game isn't.

I understand that but the masks were added after the game, as free content and are not a selling point/feature of the game. They're just a free thing for fans.

I actually noticed this too, they screwed with baitface badly just like they screwed with chains CO pack mask, it doesn't look right. Me no gusta and rageface are perfect recreations of their original counterparts from the first game but the baitface mask is just... Wrong.
