How to remove the 60FPS cap?

How do i remove the 60FPS cap? i set the fps limit in the menu to 135 and my V-Sync is enabled through the Nvidia Control Panel, i have a 144Hz monitor so... yeah...

Play in borderless window mode and deactivate VSync. This way you have VSync without FPS cap and also no input lag. Fullscreen mode in Payday 2 always caps at 60FPS if you activate VSync.

There is no 60 FPS cap, something else is capping the framerate.

You have Vsync enabled, which is the exact opposite of what you want. Disable Vsync and all should be well.

This will let you change the 135 cap to 144 or even 9001 if you really want that.

i fixed it, the problem isnt the V-Sync, its on Adaptive mode and i have a 144Hz monitor, the problem was that the game was controlling my refresh rate, and i set it to use the highest available through the Nvidia Control panel.
