Trying to get a pc to run payday 2
I'm trying to build a pc that can run Payday 2 at 60 fps on high settings, for 100-200 dollars, if thats not possible is it at least possible to get one that can run on medium settings for that price?

Yes, it is a laptop.

You're gonna need around 600 for this game, it's rather unoptimized

You are going to build a toaster right? I think you should get a PS4 instead

Check out r/buildapc for sure. You can get away with a solid computer at 400 usd, or less if you know where to look and buy used. It's possible, but not the easiest. The biggest difference is your graphics card and you'll want to spend 40-60% of your total budget on that. Do you have more than basic knowledge on computer components and building? Linustechtips has some great videos and a great forum to check out as well for people that won't give you ♥♥♥♥ answers like on here. Hope this helps!

Water cooling is stupid for something like just playing payday. I don't use it because it's worse at cooling anyway, and your processor isnt going to make much of a difference for payday. It hardly uses the cpu. Dont listen to whatever lord tickle ♥♥♥♥♥ says. ps im a certified IT

Try to find a used i5 or i7 desktop... Might be able to find a good deal.

An i7 from 2008 will still run payday really well, just need a decent video card.

200 dollars and you want to run this game at a decent framerate? Not happening, unless you buy second-hand.

The GPU you posted is an integrated one, which is not supported, and will certainly not get you above 30 FPS even if you manage to get it to work.

Yo, I'm using an amd processor and an r9 280x getting over 100fps on max settings. You don't need an expensive Intel processor unless you play cpu based games (Minecraft is a good example) and even then any desktop gpu is going to be better than what you have. Payday isn't an intensive game, it isn't the witcher 3 or anything.
An option might be to go to a pawn shop, get a used desktop for super cheap and add a $100 gpu to it. You need to know a bit about computers to do that though like how much power the build will take and if the board has a slot for the gpu. It's not too hard to learn though

There's a video series called scrapyard wars on youtube where they try to build the cheapest best gaming rig possible and hunt for parts seond hand, you might check it out if you haven't. If anything it's entertaining, but it might give you some ideas.

$300 for a cheap PC. $400-500 for some mid range stuff. $600-900 for the high and ultra end stuff.

FYI ultra end stuff can easily fetch into the $5,000 to $10,000 or more.

a $900 PC is medium range

Yeah but you are not going to waste 10k on a PC to just play games on high. 10k PC.s are more like for streamers and software developers
