Platypus 70 Sniper Rifle. Can't Equip.

As the title says I can't equip the new sniper rifle.

All it says is "The weapon is locked by one of more modifcations".

I haven't modded it and It'd like to know how to fix this thanks.

Remove iron sights and use another scope.

Just seconds ago I found a fix.

It seems to be being caused by the default scope of the weapon. If you modify the scope to something that isn't the iron sights you can equip the weapon then switch back to the default scope and it will be fixed.

I have my game modded and can still purcharse and equip the new rifle. So, no idea.

From another thread:

Just FYI, equip the rifle before installing the iron sight. That way you'll be able to use it.

Glad it's being worked on already but... and I'm not trying to attack anyone here?... but does Overkill beta test at all? Because this shouldn't have launched like this. Random, hard to replicate bugs are one thing but I didn't even get out of the inventory screen on this one.
