Pc Xbox 360 controller for payday 2

I bought a PC xbox 360 controller and most of the games I play on steam support the controller but when im playing payday 2 or any first person shooter I cant make my controls tactical like I can on ghost because im used to playing cod on tactical I was just wondering is there a program that allows me to change the buttons layout on my xbox 360 controller thankyou !

You should be able to change your control scheme in-game in this one. Check the options menu.

Connect the pad, launch the game and start the game using your pad instead of keyboards or mice.

What do you use to remap the controls?

I know this is late but use x360ce to map the controls, and copy paste the .dll + .ini it creates into the folder of Payday2

The problem I have other then mapping is that the anti-deadzone is SUPER high, and looking with a gamepad feels robotic.
