It used to be way more chill back when death wish was the highest difficulty. I've seen a steady decline in the number of friendly encounters in the past few years
Anything below DS you're probably never going to run into them, on DS it's like Roulette. Second you see one of them in your lobby there is a 75% chance they will be a pure breed ♥♥♥♥♥.
They'll critique your build, They'll critique your aim, They'll critique your game sense, They'll call you slurs and insults, They'll try to kick you from the lobby, if they are the host they usually will kick you from the lobby.
All that entitlement and it stems from an ugly ass mask for what is honestly not even the hardest modifier.
It doesn't even matter if what you're doing is working, doesn't even matter if you're pulling more weight than them. If you aren't playing the game the way the Meta thinks you should play it, you're basically sub-human to them.
On normal difficulty it was most likely someone trying to play with their friends and not being smart enough to set their lobby to friends only.
We've all been there a few different times. A lot of times they Ban you from their lobbies because they don't want you rejoining.
It's also a waste of time to make a PSA over here telling people to set their lobbies to friends only if they don't want to play with Randoms.
Another VERY common one is they're doing it on Stealth but didn't have it set to Stealth. So, you join in full loud get-up and either awkwardly stop once you realize what's going on or don't realize right away and break their whole run.
In this situation it's not your fault. You can set the icon for a heist to Stealth, Loud and Any it's just a lot of the player-base never does.
Most lobbies are loud and "Any" is a worthless option because most of the time it's not Any.
The game is good, the community is 50% disaster and the other 50% friendly
