2024 update

Is this game still getting new DLC, characters and updates or the devs has moved on to payday 3

Content development has ceased. Although with Payday 3 not doing so well, it's very possible the devs may come back to Payday 2 in the future.

mods are pretty good content updates, I dunno about you.

The chances that the devs will return to Payday 2 are high, Payday 3 is not doing well at all and if Payday 3 becomes like Overkills the Walking Dead, then we will return to the 2020-2023 period where the game received updates.

I'm sure someone could mod Pearl in if you really wanted her in Payday 2.
