Is leech actually better than hacker?
The more I play with hacker the more I'm convinced leech is NOT the most broken perk deck in the game.

Now it's true hacker requires more skill and leech rewards bad play... but if you're playing death sentence, are you actually that bad of a player? Like come on.

(And death wish is death wish, obviously)

Hacker is ultra-brainless and I hate playing with it, and with people who use it. All you do is press a button and all the enemies become vegetables, and you become (sorta) invincible.

It's either hacker or stoic for me, everything else feels too weak. Actually I play with crew chief from time to time too. But I tried crook, muscle, didn't like them. I play with sicario on some maps because there are some uses even if it's weak and also it's fun but no way I'm not playing hacker if there isn't at least one hacker on the team.

both decks are braindead, but hey, at least leech users have longer lifespan before going into custody than these pesky hacker users.

because the deck with a rechargable map wide repeating stun, and a deck with a self revive are so punishing and smart

AFAIK you can cheese the game if you can properly use it (I have not bothered trying though).

Hacker, on the other hand, is kinda overpowered but being able to stop most nearby enemies for a few seconds is a necessary skill (especially when playing solo) because I can't count how many times I have been rushed and surrounded by +4 cops at once in just 1-2 seconds (Hoxton Breakout suffers this the most).

I don't know when Starbreeze made this change but cops rush TOO fast towards you in groups without a care nor strategy. How am I supposed to evade/kill them before I am 2-shotted to death?

Once you are good enough with any perk deck, it kinda becomes boring though. Imma start using Sicario for the challenge.

I think they were always like this. The issue I have is with the changes they made to dominating cops. They are definitely different now.

I've played both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of PAYDAY 2 and I do not remember them being like this back then. They would either have some strategy or rush slow enough so that the players could react but now they seem to move in such a weird way that it feels that they just spawned right there instead of following a path towards me.

Update 240.3 changes the conditions for enemies to play the "run_stop" animation to be a lot more strict. This is why the enemies rush and don't stop.

I find that hacker is more of a panic button that allows you do turn a lmg dozers rushing you into a kitten for 6 seconds. Personally I prefer leech but when we talk about the best tiers of perk decks that have the similar "press 3 to win" its kind of preference.

Leech def works better than hacker in that specific situation. If the dozer is on you it won't instantly trigger the feedback effect. If he's coming to you but not on you, sure it's good.

They're both about equally as good. Leech used to be super broken because you could endlessly prevent yourself from going into custody and revive yourself and all sorts of stuff before that was removed and nerfed.

And honestly, if you're playing death sentence and you're trying to decide which two (very good, great even) options is better, then skill is going to come into the equation.

Try them, see what you like. That's my advice.

Frenzy suit burglar is the best!

leech turns you into a human medic bag since you heal your team by activating the vial, it is also a combination of stoic, grinder and kingpin

hacker turns the team's taser on you by stunning enemies in a short period of time, plus the dodge is good

The 2 perks are good, it is stupid to compare the 2 perks and see which is better
