You can scrap the "may not" and substitute with "will not", they have stated their intentions VERY clearly on this subject.
It is sad for new players to know that they lose all this content that overkill is not going to renew for sale, including the death of the scarface dlc in 2020
Players will lose nothing if they already have this content on their account.
It's only the new players who might miss out, and after almost 11 years...
Well, it's a miracle the game's still being sold at ALL, so they should just count their blessings.

The crimewave edition of xbox removed some of the aforementioned content
overkill in the news of patch 240.3 announced that they would eliminate dlc content due to licensing problems

this is the steamdb entry where they migrated the content
https://steamdb.info/app/2596140/info/
I was referring to the users who start playing when the dlc were eliminated and the users who start the game in the year 2025 onwards.
Like I said, it's almost been 11 years (12 by 2025), most games don't even remotely last that long...
Does it sort of suck?
Yes.
Did we (the community) warn Overkill when they started doing these licensed crossovers that this would become a problem?
YES!
Were we ridiculed and systematically ignored?
Also yes.
And now we're here, it's 2024, some DLC is already gone, other DLC will be gone soon...
It's not like no one warned them.
Free content will continue to be available to game owners and new players will not be able to access this content.
Paid content is the same case with Scarface, it will be removed from sale and owners who purchased these paid DLC will be able to continue using it.
It's a shame yes, the fact that overkill has decided to never renew license content is sad for new players who start playing when all this content is no longer available
