It is Battlefield. It's right in the name. ;) Gee whiz, it does have guns. But if it also looks like Battlefield and plays like Battlefield, and as Bindal said, swaps out the Chinese and Americans for cops and robbers...yeahhhh...there are CoD mods that are more inspired than that, heheh.
When you say Payday 2's theme...do you mean something unique to Payday 2 that say, GTA doesn't broadly suggest already? I'm sure they'd love their game to be compared to Payday 2, but I don't see the similarity beyond the extremely generic crime theme.
