the 240 update experience so far....

Have u guys been getting a lot more crashes lately after this update? i thought i was going crazy but there are some vids and discussions talking about how crashing is becoming some more and more common
aswell as crashes that dont even have Crash.log meaning u cant do anything to know what it is, even without mods
anyone else experiencing it?
here's one that i've gotten pretty frequently and consistently, jokers
dominating a cop with someone close to you giving the command to dominate them too can, sometimes, crash either your game or crash everyone else in the server (if u are the host)

have u exprienced anything similar to this yet? in the sense of random crashes (doesnt need to be exacly the same as my case)

doesnt help that the game runs on a bad engine that cant handle this game right, so updates and implementing new things, be from updates or mods, just maeks the engine get closer and closer to breaking

to lower the chance of the game crash, you could try using a couple of mods, like

re-texture mod
the fixes mod
there is a mod that fixes the joker crash

apart from that, as kevkild says a couple of times in his streams, just try and deal with the crashes or just play better games

The convert bug is really annoying but it seems to be triggered by tazing the enemy and trying to convert him that way. I started just shooting at them then spamming F and it seems fine for my teammates and me or maybe I'm just really lucky.

yeah i used the fixes mod to not crash in that way, still have random crashes on the newest heists, and issues with the ai like dozers staring into walls

yea i have a friend that did essentially that, just downgraded to a very old version of the game, with the ''classic modpack'' and to this day is enjoying it without the crashes

also, PD:tH even tho it's dead, is also untouched by updates, so if anyone is interessted in going to that game, i would recommend, it's at least more worth it than going to Paycrap 3 or staying on the Crashday 2 that we are having until the devs fix it (IF they fix it)

I find it interesting that even though so many bad changes were made to PAYDAY 2 it still is extremely good and fun to play, at least to me. PD:TH might be good but compared to PD2 it just feels outdated and boring. I would rather play PD2 on DSOD.

Crashing and game mechanics no longer working are all part of the new and improved Payday 2 experience, possibly in an attempt to gaslight players into thinking Payday 3 is somehow better. Welcome to 2024. Let's do this.

It's been in a poor state since the EOS update & the recent animation update no one asked for. Changes to fire related damage & unnecessary gameplay changes, all while they're working on PD3 after release. It's a joke for non-modded users to play right now. Lucky, the community mods has sorted some issues.

I'll still play this over PD3 as everything in PD3 but the gameplay is ♥♥♥♥.
